Send & Receive Emails with Devin

Use the AgentMail MCP server directly in Devin to send and receive emails

Devin, Cognition’s hosted software engineering agent, connects to AgentMail through its MCP Marketplace. One custom MCP entry gives every Devin session @agentmail.to inboxes to list, create, and send from, driven by plain instructions.

What you will need

Add the AgentMail MCP server

In Devin, open Settings > Connections > MCP servers and click Add a custom MCP. Use HTTP transport, https://mcp.agentmail.to/mcp, and an x-api-key header with your API key, then Install and enable.

Test the tools

Click Test tools. Devin validates the connection and enables the AgentMail tools for every session.

Any Devin session can now use the tools. For example:

Create an AgentMail inbox and send a hi email from it to you@example.com.
