Send & Receive Emails with Claude Cowork

Use the AgentMail connector directly on claude.com to send and receive emails

Claude Cowork is Anthropic’s agentic workspace in the Claude desktop and web apps. It takes an outcome you describe and works through the steps on its own.

Use AgentMail’s official connector to give it an email inbox of its own.

What you will need

A Claude account.
An AgentMail account. Sign up here.

Open Settings

Click your name in the bottom-left, then Settings.

Add the AgentMail connector

Under Customize, open Connectors and search AgentMail. Click + on the verified listing.

Sign in and allow

Sign in to AgentMail and click Allow to grant Claude access.

Send a test email

In a Cowork chat, paste:

Create an AgentMail inbox and send a hi email from it to you@example.com.

Approve the tool call. Cowork sends from its new @agentmail.to inbox.
